Just a few lines to introduce myself and this company and our affiliated authors to you.
My name is Wayne Schwartz, and I am the founder of Horseshoe House Media. We are currently a small freedom-loving Christian publisher and book distributor located in the beautiful Amish country of Northern Indiana
Our goal is to bring you quality entertainment and information from Christian and conservative/libertarian creators. We operate under the ethos that Christian and conservatarian entertainment must first and foremost be entertaining in order to have any value to, or any impact on, our audience. As such, projects we support will always be story-centered. We believe in the saying that "Facts tell, but stories sell".
Having said that, what exactly are we selling?
Well, let me tell you a bit about my passion.
What do you think of when you hear the word "freedom"? Do you think of the 4th of July and fireworks and an American flag waving while a bald eagle screams overhead?
Do you think of our soldiers fighting on the beaches of Normandy and the hills of Iwo Jima?
Do you think of the ability to worship God in peace, with no interference from an overbearing government?
Do you think of the ability to go to work, build your life, create financial stability for your family and yourself?
Or do you think of the freedom to protest injustice, cast off the shackles of an overbearing oppressor?
Does freedom to you mean freedom from sin, perhaps? Freedom in Christ Jesus, freedom from the bondage and baggage of your past?
Freedom means all those things to me and so, so much more.
When I say that my passion is freedom, everyone has a picture in their head as to what they think I'm standing for. Most of them are correct, but incomplete.
I will talk about the subject of freedom a lot on this page. But hopefully that gives you a bit of a taste for the passion that I have been a student of for a long time.
The purpose of this company is to promote freedom in all its many forms, but to entertain in the process. We will produce entertaining, daring, edgy, and yet wholesome entertainment with strong roots in Biblical Christianity, American values, and yes, freedom.
